This report maps the availability of, and access to, off-grid lighting products in Senegal. It finds that reliable lighting is limited, especially in rural areas, and that solar portable lanterns (SPLs) can provide for this lighting need in a sustainable way. However, the availability of solar products that have undergone quality testing is relatively limited and restricted to urban areas. The report includes a ‘phonebook’ of stakeholders’ names and contact information.
